Chuck Guthrie portrayed William Cecil, Baron Burgleigh at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Chuck spent many years at the faire walking with his companion Jeanine Lusardi (Margaret Douglas, Dowager Countess of Lennox). It won't surprise many to know that when they weren't at the faire they met for coffee. Chuck was a constant member of Court save for a year spent in the Bristol Renaissance Faire's scenario cast. He wanted to try something else and he did, though still as the Baron, afterwhich he returned to court. Chuck wasn't afraid to tell you his opinion and did so often.

Chuck passed away unexpectedly on February 27th, 2004. His Funeral service was held at Steuerle Funeral Home in Villa Park, Illinois, on Saturday, March 6th at 2:00pm. Many were in attendance from the Renaissance Faire and the many acting and performing communities that he was part of.
